And I awoke
surrounded by ten thousand buddhas
and I was whole again

Kim was talking about this monastery just yesterday... Must be a beautiful place. I have to visit one day, soon.

Actually, it's a little disappointing, or at least it was when I was there about four or five years ago. The interiors of some of the buildings are quite nice, and there's a beautiful lake, though.
I'll post more photos from my visits soon (I've been there several times, but not recently).

P.S. I should add that although it might not be the most picturesque of places, its's considered an excellent resource for the study of East Asian religions.

Hello, Chiaki-san, blog yokoso he!

Thank you for viewing my blog. I look forward to visiting your Web site because I, too, enjoy Japanese culture very, very much. I used to live in Chiba-ken.
I enjoy old-time Japanese culture (especially Muromachi and Edo jidai), the type of thing many people would call furu-kusai today.

Mata yoroshiku onegaitashimasu,
Michael
